Arkintel B.V. is a company registered in the Netherlands, with the following information:
DelftGPT is deployed for Gemeente Delft as part of a strategic partnership between Gemeente Delft and Arkintel. The platform runs on servers owned by the Municipality in the Gemeente Delft datacenter.
These terms explain how you may use the DelftGPT platform, including the website and related chat interface.
The service is only for authorized employees of Gemeente Delft who have been given access through Microsoft Entra ID. Access is controlled by the Municipality. AI training must be completed before access is granted.
By using DelftGPT, you confirm that you are using it for your work at Gemeente Delft.
DelftGPT is an AI chat assistant that helps employees with daily work such as drafting, summarizing, translating, explaining, and working with uploaded documents.
DelftGPT is still in a field trial and development phase. It is being evaluated and is not a finalized product. Features, models, and behavior may change during this period.
The platform is a work aid. It is not a final authority and not a system for making decisions on your behalf.
The DelftGPT platform and software are owned by Arkintel and its licensors. The name "DelftGPT" is owned by Gemeente Delft.
The AI models used by the platform are open source models provided by third parties.
Always review DelftGPT output before using it in your work. The AI can make mistakes, leave things out, or sound confident when it is wrong.
Important limitations:
You remain responsible for checking the output and deciding whether it is suitable for use.
The platform uses artificial intelligence to answer questions and work with uploaded documents.
The AI is powered by open source large language models that run on the Municipality's own servers. These models are not trained on chats from DelftGPT.
The platform does not make decisions for users. It provides information and draft output only.
Chat storage and AI processing take place on servers in the Gemeente Delft datacenter.
Some supporting services remain external, such as Microsoft Entra ID for sign-in, Cloudflare for secure traffic routing, and Vercel for frontend delivery and privacy-friendly web analytics.
Your chats are not used to train AI models.
Chat history is linked to your account so you can return to earlier conversations. Other users cannot see your chats.
For more information about how data is processed, please read the Privacy Policy.
You can upload documents into the chat for the AI to read and discuss. Some modes may also support image understanding.
Only upload files you are allowed to use.
By using DelftGPT, you agree to:
Misuse can lead to removal of access by the Municipality and may have further consequences under municipal policy.
During Phase 2, Gemeente Delft and Arkintel use the platform to evaluate quality on real work.
This means that chats, feedback, upvotes, downvotes, and suggestions may be used for benchmark and quality evaluation.
Your chat history is stored so you can continue earlier conversations.
Each user can only access their own chats in the platform.
In specific audit cases or when the Gemeente is required to do so, the Gemeente may request export of a user's chat data.
Because DelftGPT is a work aid and not a mission-critical system, temporary unavailability may occur during maintenance, updates, or periods of heavy use.
If the platform is unavailable, users should continue their work through normal tools and processes.
The platform may change during the field trial. Models, available functions, or support processes may be updated as the system is evaluated and improved.
If these terms change in a material way, the update will be communicated through the platform or through the Municipality's internal channels.
Your access may end if:
